I am currently a Teach for America Corps Member in Los Angeles. I am interested in education policy and international affairs. I joined Bobatalks because, as an FGLI Asian American, I love Bobatalks’ programming and would like to pay it forward.

Giving back to others! I had so many mentors (official and unnofficial) while I was applying to undergrad, going through school, and trying to navigate how to land my first full-time job. In my professional life, I’ve gone from being an auditor at a Big 4 to a technical accounting consultant at another Big 4 to consulting a smaller firm, and now doing financial reporting and technical accounting at a biotech company. Outside of work, you can typically find me somewhere outdoors hanging out with my dog/ hiking/ climbing or planning my next trip – I’m a huge foodie and love traveling to eat!

I’m a Vancouver-based product designer. I’ve done work at an agency, freelancing, and in companies of all shapes and sizes. Outside of work, I love binge-watching whatever is new in the top 10 on Netflix 🎥, reading sociology/fantasy books 📚, and learning to code 👩💻 so I can bring all the projects floating around in my head to life.

Hey y’all! Super excited to start giving back as a mentor because it takes a village to succeed! I’ve had a bunch of varied experience from professional dancing, retail management, tech sales, and most recently recruiting & recruiting operations for the past 4 years. I was a non-traditional student who has been able to take these varied parts of my story to drive a career on the non-tech side of tech, so happy to share my experience and pay it forward! In my free time, I teach dance classes, lead with my stomach in exploring new restaurants, and try and live life to the fullest.
